Membership and Account Structure
Derivative Clearing Members (AKD) are clearing members who receive clearing, settlement and guarantee services for futures contract transactions, both for the benefit of the relevant AK orders and their customers. The provisions for Clearing Members who are entitled to receive clearing and guarantee services for settlement of futures contract transactions can be accessed at this link. KPEI uses accounts available at KSEI in the settlement process of Futures Contract transactions. The accounts used by Derivative Clearing Members (AK), namely:
- Securities Derivative Contract Security Fund Account;
- Main Securities Account (REU) for Securities Derivative Contract Guarantee; and
- Main Securities Account (REU) for Securities Derivative Contract Settlement.
Meanwhile, for customers, Clearing Members (AK) Derivatives are required to open a Securities Sub Account (SRE) for Securities Derivative Contract Collateral that has the same client code as the securities collateral account (004) for its customers.
